Tigers Defeat Gladewater 19-8 Friday Night!
The Mount Vernon Tigers improved on their season record with a victory over Gladewater Friday night. The final score was 19-8. Receiving recognition in the Tyler Courier-Times-Telegraph's "High School Football: East Texas Honor Roll" were the following:
Defense:
Kasey Bogue - The Tiger defensive end registered 16 tackles, caused a fumble, recovered a fumble, and had a sack in his team's 19-8 win over Gladewater.
Zane Lacaze - The Tiger linebacker had 16 tackles and two sacks against Gladewater.
Special Teams:
Colby Keener - With momentum in Gladewater's corner, the Tiger returned a kickoff 85 yards for a TD. |
