Eighth Grade Lady Tiger Volleyball Team Wins MVJH Tournament         The Mount Vernon Junior High eighth grade Lady Tiger volleyball team finished in first place at the Mount Vernon Junior High Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 26th. The eighth grade girls were undefeated throughout the tournament, beating Pittsburg in two games 25-16 and 25-18; Quitman in three games 13-25, 25-14, and 25-20; and Paul Pewitt in two games 25-16 and 25-17. Scoring for the tournament was lead by Bailey Bohlken with 25 points, Taylor Rose with 18 points, Sarah Johnson with 17 points, Kristin Decker with 16 points, Samantha Tognetti with 12 points, and Emily Floyd with 8 points. Congratulations, Lady Tigers, for a job well done!
