September's "Caught Being Good" for MVES

Seven students at Mount Vernon ISD were "Caught Being Good" in September. Each week students at the elementary and intermediate school are chosen as students who portray good character, morals, and citizenship. At the end of each month, a drawing is conducted to choose children from each campus who receive a free lunch from Dairy Queen and free merchandise from a local retail store. The students "Caught Being Good" for September are: Brooks Briscoe, Joel Herrera, Caidence Holloway, Garrett Logan, Joe Scally, Dana Swor, and Bailey Thomas. The monthly character program is coordinated through the Communities in School Program.
