MVISD Computer Lab Schedule
| As technology integration continues to increase, lab scheduling creates problems with lab availability. Therefore, in an effort to coordinate lab scheduling throughout the district, all portable labs will be scheduled on the individual campuses. All other scheduling for fixed computer labs will be coordinated through Brenda Burling through email ( bburling@mtvernonisd.com ) or by phone (Ext. 4117). She will be updating the schedules throughout the day, so please be sure to check the schedule before requesting a particular lab time.
In order to simplify the process, she will need the following information to schedule a lab:
1. Teacher Name
2. Campus
3. Requested Lab Name
4. Dates Requested
5. Class Periods or Class Times Requested
There are a few rules which you need to be aware of before scheduling a lab:
1. Labs cannot be scheduled more than one month in advance.
2. Principals have the “right of refusal” for scheduling classes from another campus in a lab.
3. If you have a group that doesn’t need a full lab’s software or internet capabilities, please check with Mrs. Eudy about possibly using the library computers for word processing instead of tying up a complete lab.
