Franklin County Schools League of Honor

Franklin County Schools League of Honor exists to recognize former Franklin County Schools students and employees whose lives exemplify positive accomplishments and contributions to society. A maximum of four former students and two former employees may be recognized annually.

Nominations may be made by anyone who wishes to do so. The attached formal nomination form must be completed and returned to the Mt. Vernon Superintendent of Schools no later than April 1st.

A one to two-page letter, including resume information which communicates the nominee’s achievements, should accompany the form. Relevant information may include education, career, community/civic service and family data.

Nominations received will be considered only for that year. A nominee not selected must be re-submitted in the same manner for further consideration.

Honorees will be announced at the Homecoming game each fall.

This nomination form must be received by John Kaufman, MVISD Superintendent of Schools, P. O. Box 98, Mount Vernon, Texas 75457, no later than April 1, 2010. Honorees will be announced at Homecoming activities in the fall of 2010.
